NAF Financial ProgramsMost experts agree that one of the principal barriers to adoption is the expense. Using private funds and a partnership with the corporate community, The Foundation offers aid to families for expenses associated with the adoption and raising of children through Direct Grants provided by The Foundation, our Adoption Credit Card, 529 college savings plans and Unsecured Loans. |
We believe in supporting families so they can thrive and grow. |
Our loan programs and other services are open for any expense an adoptive family may have before, during or after their adoption is finalized. This includes all post placement services. We are proud that our programs have already helped to create homes for countless children.
The National Adoption Foundation has partnered with the Rose and Kiernan agency and the Philadelphia Insurance Company (the national leader in providing insurance to social service and nonprofit organizations) to offer Adoption Disruption Insurance.
Designed exclusively for adoptive parents, this policy is designed to protect adoptive parents in the event the birth person changes their mind and decides not to place the child up for adoption. Coverage is available for most domestic adoptions for children under two years of age.
The costs associated with domestic adoptions typically averages between $25,000 and $30,000 and the Adoption Disruption Insurance policy can reimburse you for expenses incurred in the course of adopting a child.
