College Savings Plans

A 529 college savings plan through the National Adoption Foundation gives you the comfort of knowing you've planned for the cost of your child's college education.

529 plans have many benefits:

  • Money invested grows without taxes so your savings will build up faster.
  • Money taken out for qualified expenses comes out without taxes so it's like getting a bonus of 20-30%.
  • You, parents, grandparents, anyone can contribute to the account.
  • Money you put into the account remains in your control, not in the child's name.
  • Reduce your taxable estate while maintaining control over the money.
  • Unlike some other savings plans, your money can be used at any college.

The National Adoption Foundation has partnered with Royal Capital Management, who will advise you in selecting the best plan. The NAF has selected tomorrow’s scholar®, managed by Wells Fargo Funds Management, LLC to represent some of the choices available. Wells Fargo is a leader in the 529 industry and a proponent of the adoption community.
